Polar Expedition

This trip is for those who want to discover the rugged beauty of the Canadian North, see the Northern Lights and get to know the Inuit culture.

Day 1: Explore Whitehorse
The expedition begins in the capital of Yukon – Whitehorse. This small city with a rich history will be the starting point of your journey. In the morning we will visit the Yukon Museum, where you will learn about the gold rush and the history of Arctic exploration. Then we will go for a walk along the Yukon River, where you can see old steamboats and hear stories about the early settlers.

After lunch, you will visit a husky farm, where you will meet these hardy northern dogs. You will learn how they help people survive in harsh conditions and you will have the opportunity to ride a dog sled. In the evening, we will go outside the city to watch the Northern Lights in ideal conditions.

Day 2: Arctic Tundra Landscapes
On the second day, we will go on an expedition through the tundra, where unique natural landscapes await you: endless snowy expanses, frozen rivers and wild animals. We will visit the UNESCO-listed Kluane National Park to see one of the largest glaciers in the world. Here you will be able to walk along special trails and take incredible photos.

After lunch, we will visit an Inuit village, where you will get acquainted with their culture and traditions. You will see how the famous Inuit sculptures are created and try national dishes cooked over an open fire.

Day 3: Northern Rest
The final day of the tour will be devoted to rest in the bosom of nature. We will go to the village of Karmacks, where you can see traditional trapper huts and try your hand at ice fishing.

In the evening we return to Whitehorse to finish the expedition with dinner at one of the city's best restaurants, where you will be served wild dishes such as caribou meat and arctic fish. The tour will leave you with an unforgettable memory and a desire to return to the north again.
